Two up, two down. The Hounds made quick work of their first-round playoff opponent, the Bloomington Bobcats, by easily taking the first two games of what could have been a best of a three game set. After a 5-1, no-pressure victory in game one, the Hounds kept the easy train rolling as they turned around and shut out the Bobcats in game two, 7-0. Now, DuPage is onto another Midwest Collegiate League Final against the league’s third-place regular season finisher, the Northwest Indiana Oilmen. The winner between this best of three game matchup will finish the season with ultimate bragging rights as the two teams split the regular season series right down the middle at four games a piece. Game one is scheduled for Friday, August 5th at 5pm at the Lemont High School Sports Complex in Lemont. We look forward to seeing you all there!
