Vikings lose a resumed game and the nine innings after that to DuPage County Hounds

On May 29th the Hounds had to delay their game against Vikings at a 7-7 tie during the 11th inning. This game was finally continued on Friday where the Hounds made quick work of the Vikings in the 11th, going 1,2,3. Up to the plate for the Hounds was Joe Becht, and he made good on his word! After saying all day he would hit a long ball and end the game, he took the ball over the fence on the 4th pitch of the at bat.

After this quick continuation, the Hounds continued onto their regularly scheduled game. It was pretty quiet until the 4th inning when the Hounds put up 4 runs and all seemed to be going well until the Vikings gave them a run for their money putting 3 runs in the 8th. The Hounds weren't going to put up with it though, and put up one more run in the bottom of that inning for good measure. Jacob Nagel pitched a little over seven innings with over 100 pitches striking out seven.

The Hounds had 13 hits today. Ryan Knernschield had 3 singles, Drew Demumbrum had a single and double with 3 RBI's, Kyle Kane had two singles with one RBI, Mitch Buban had two singles, Tristan Welch had a double, Joe Becht had one single with one RBI, and Anthony Cocco and Brandon Post had one single each.
