The DuPage Hounds have locked a spot in the 2013 MCL playoffs. After going 3-2 over the weekend, the Hounds are playing into August.

 

On Thursday, the dogs split a double header with their division rival, the NWI Oilmen.  Friday they took down the Southland Vikings and Saturday split another double header with the Chicago Zephyrs. The Hounds are now 20-8 and have 3.5 game lead on the Oilmen and Lexington Snipes. If the season ended today, the Hounds would be the number one seed and take on Vikings.

 

But the season is not over yet. There are seven games remaining and four of those are against winning teams. They also finish the season with six of seven games at home.

The next game is tomorrow at home against the Chicago Zephyrs (6-18). The game starts at 7 p.m. and all tickets are $2! Come support the Hounds for their quest to take home the regular season championship.
