The DuPage Hounds will face off against the Chicago Zephyrs Thursday night. The Hounds (5-4) are coming off of a 3-2 win against the Dekalb County Liners. The Zephyrs (2-6) are caught in the midst of a three game losing streak. The Hounds’ win Tuesday night marked a 2-2 homestand that featured two losses to the Will County Crackerjacks (8-5, 6-1) and a victory over the Illinois Lincolns (7-6). With their win over the Liners, the Hounds drew to within half a game of the Liners for first place in the North Division. The Zephyrs are in last place in the North Division, three games back of first. Thursday’s game will be played at Waubonsee Community College in Sugar Grove, IL. Not normally the Zephyrs’ home turf, all of their games have been moved to the college for the remainder of this week. The game is set to start at 5 P.M. The Hounds are scheduled to play nine games in ten days, starting with a four game road trip that begins Thursday against the Zephyrs. The Hounds will also face the Crackerjacks, the Northwest Indiana Oilmen, and the Liners.
