The DuPage County Hounds put up the first run in the game, but failed to keep the lead during the game and end up losing 5 to 3 against the Northwest Indiana Oilmen on the road.  The Hounds now drop to a 6-6 record in the North Division in the Midwest Collegiate League.  The Northwest Indiana Oilmen improve to a league best 11-3 record.

If the season ended today, the Hounds would make the playoffs.  For the 2012 season of the Midwest Collegiate League, the top team in each division would make the playoffs.  In this case, the DeKalb County Liners from the North Division and the Northwest Indiana Oilmen from the South Division would automatically make the playoffs.  The final two spots would go to the next two highest teams in the entire league (Wild Card).  In this case, it would be the Hounds and the Will County CrackerJacks.

Tonight the Hounds take on the DeKalb County Liners on the road in Sycamore, IL with a game time of 6:05pm.  The DuPage County Hounds return home this Tuesday, June 19 at 7:00pm against the Chicago Zephyrs.  If you're a resident of Lisle or Naperville and show your ID at the door, you can get into the game for only $2.00.
