Hounds Announce Eight Players, Bring Total to 24 Players

Lisle, IL – The DuPage County Hounds, members of the Midwest Collegiate League, are pleased to announce the signing of eight players, of which six are from Division I programs, one from a Junior College program and one from a Division III program.  In total the Hounds now have 24 of their 28 spots announced for the 2014 season.
 
Brian Lees is a catcher from the University of Akron.  A native of Brunswick, OH, Lees is 6’1” 200 pounds.
 
Kyle Hunsinger, a member of the 2013 DuPage County Hounds, Hunsinger is attending College of DuPage for his last year before transferring to a Division I program.  Hunsinger is an infielder from Joliet.
 
Chris Wastchak currently attends University of Akron and is from McMullay, PA.  The 5”10 195 pound 1st baseman was a three-year starter while in high school at Peters Township.
 
Frankie Perrone currently attends Eastern Illinois University.  The Park Ridge native is an infielder/outfielder.  While playing baseball for Maine South High School, Perrone was named to the all-conference and all-area teams as well as being named offensive player of the year for his team.
 
Adam Wilson currently attends Centenary College.  From Harrison, Maine, the infielder was named a 1st team all-American in 2010 and 2011 while in high school as well as named offensive player of the team for his team in 2010 and 2011.  He also was part of the 2010 world power showcase at Tropicana Field, home of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
 
Anthony Malky currently attends University of Akron where he is a right-handed pitcher.  Malky joins the Hounds with three other teammates from the University of Akron.  He is from Oakmont, PA.
 
Josh Davis, who attends University of Akron, is from Clarksburg, Virginia.  The 6’4” 215 pound right-handed pitcher was named to the all-conference, all-county, and all-state teams while in high school as well as being named to the 2010 USSSA 2nd team all-american team and the 2011 USSSA 1st tem team all-american team.  He played on the USA baseball regional team and was on the USSSA team that won a gold metal.
 

Matt Frawley currently attends Purdue University and is part of the Hounds with one other teammate from Purdue as well.  The right-handed pitcher is from Carol Stream.  While playing at Glenbard North High School Frawley was named to the all-area and all-conference team as well as being name co-pitcher of the year in the high school’s conference.
