Hounds Beat Zephyrs 4-2!

By:
In a hot day at Benedictine University the Hounds came out swinging as to take an early lead against Chicago. Gary Mayberry lead off the game with his third homerun of the season and the Hounds didn't look back from there. Scoring two in the first inning and getting that early lead. Hounds were able to put two more on the board in the game with doubles by Josh Kiem and Joey White. Luke Ball had his best start of the year as he goes 7 innings strong and improves his record to 2-2 on the year. Ball struck out four and walked six, but was able to get out of trouble in a couple innings to keep the Zephyrs off the board. Ray Rodriguez came in to pitch a perfect 9th inning to earn his 2nd save and is now tied for the team lead. Hounds improve their record to 12-10 and will look to keep it going tomorrow night as they are back home taking on the Southland Vikings at 7 pm...
