LISLE, IL – The DuPage County Hounds, members of the Midwest Collegiate League, announced their 42-game 2014 season schedule, of which 21-games will be at home. The 2014 season marks the third season for the Hounds in the Midwest Collegiate League.
In total, the DuPage County Hounds will play each team in the league a total of eight times (four home and four away) except for the Joliet Admirals and the Chicago Zephyrs. The Hounds will host the Admirals a total of five games while the Hounds will visit the Zephyrs a total of five times.
The Joliet Admirals are being rebranded for the 2014 season (formerly the Rockford Foresters), who were a travel team for the 2013 season. The Admirals will play all of their home games at Joliet Junior College in Joliet, IL.

The DuPage County Hounds are coming off their second season in the Midwest Collegiate League where the team on the field set a league record in the regular season with a .706 winning percentage, clinched their first pennant, and made the playoffs the second season in a row. Off the field, the team has drawn 25,395 fans over two-seasons, led the Midwest Collegiate League in attendance for the 2013 season, as well as hired two new full-time employees bringing their full-time staff to four individuals.
