Bellinger is returning to the Hounds after a stellar summer season last year. Bellinger was named to the Midwest Collegiate league last season. He posted a 0.93 ERA last in 9 appearances for the Hounds along with recording 22 strikeouts in those appearances while only allowing 8 walks.

This season Bellinger looks to build off a successful spring season and carry that into action for the Hounds. Bellinger, is a sophomore at Tiffin University in Tiffin, Ohio. This past season Bellinger appeared in 10 games for the Dragons and recorded 12 strikeouts in 20.1 innings pitched. He played a versatile roleo for the team both starting games and appearing as a reliever. 

Bellinger is from Schaumburg, IL and attended Schaumburg high school As a senior he was 9-4 with 64 strikeouts and a 2.70 ERA in 66 innings and led the Saxons to regional and sectional titles that season. 

When asked about the upcoming season, Bellinger said he is " looking forward to meeting his new teammates and building of the successes of the team from last season".
