LISLE, IL – The DuPage County Hounds Summer Collegiate Wood Bat Team announced today the first set of signees to make up the inaugural season roster. Players include second baseman Mark Kornacker of Lewis University, catcher/pitcher Nick Freund of Mesa Community College and middle infielder Patrick Kustok of Robert Morris University.
Mark Kornacker currently attends Lewis University where he can be found at second or third base for the Flyers baseball club. Growing up in Lemont, Illinois, Kornacker excelled in high school, being named to the 36th Annual East West All-Star Game and earning All-Conference honors in baseball.
Nick Freund is both a pitcher and a catcher. A college freshman at Mesa Community College, Freund plans on majoring in business, economics, or finance and minoring in culinary arts.
Patrick Kustok is a native of Oak Lawn, Illinois. A high school all-conference athlete in baseball and golf, Kustok was awarded the Spartan Pride Award in his junior and senior years. Additionally, Kustok was named a Wendy’s High School Heisman winner in his senior year.
Kustok is a middle infielder with experience playing second base, shortstop, and third base. In his first year at Robert Morris University, Kustok was named JV Defensive Player of the Year. He is currently studying computer science at RMU.

Individual tickets are $8 and season tickets start at $115 per seat for the entire season. A full schedule will be released by the league later this year.
