Hounds Sign Seven PlayersBy: LISLE, IL – The DuPage County Hounds Baseball Team announced today the signing of seven players to their team. With these signings, the number of players on the Inaugural Season roster is 24 players.
Daniel Will is a pitcher currently attending Mesa Community College. The Glendale, Arizona native played high school ball at Mountain Range High School where he was named to the All Northwest Conference Team in 2010 & 2011, the All Northwest Region Team in 2010 & 2011, and he was named as one of the top 100 high school baseball players in Arizona.
Gary Mayberry is an outfielder currently attending Ashford University. Mayberry is from Darien and attended Hinsdale South High School, where he was name an All-Conference Player.
Anthony Ciango is a Woodridge native who is a pitcher playing at Northern Illinois University. While at Downers Grove North High School, Ciango won numerous awards including being a three-year varsity letter winner, Academic All-Conference, and a 2010 & 2011 Rawlings All-American Honorable Mention.
Charley Gould is a catcher from William & Mary College. The Lake Forest native played high school ball at Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire where he was a two-year team captain, two-time All-Conference, and a two-time All-Lake County Team.
Joey White is an outfielder from Darien who currently attends Western Illinois University. White was named to the 2nd Team All-Conference Team in the Skyway League while attending Western Illinois University. White played high school ball at Downers Grove South where he was named to the 2009 All-Conference Team, a 2009 Honorable Mention to the All-State Team, and he was named to the 2009 All-Area Team.
Jason Euler attends Irvine Valley College where he plays catcher, first base, third base, and is a right-handed pitcher. Hailing from Flagstaff, Arizona, Euler was named in high school to the All-State Team in 2011, the All-Region Grand Canyon Team in years 2009-2011, and the All-City Flagstaff Team in years 2008-2011.
Jacob Rone currently plays at Parkland College where he is a right-handed pitcher. Rone played high school ball at Downers Grove South High School where he was named to the All-Conference Team twice as well as to the 2nd Team All-State Team. |
